Letter to Talbot Heath Old Girls from Mrs Dipple
Dear Old Girls This is the last letter I shall write to you as Head mistress of Talbot Heath. It has been both a privilege and a pleasure to lead the school into the twenty first century and to watch generations of girls grow into young women, ready to make a positive contribution to society. As I was reminded by the girls at my final assembly, there have been many changes during the past nineteen years: those of you who visit the school for Reunions will be aware of some of them. The spirit of the school, however, remains unchanged and it was this spirit which the Head Girls, Prefects and Form Leaders were determined the Governors should seek to preserve when they set about appointing the seventh Head of Talbot Heath. I am confident that Mrs Angharad Holloway is the right person to lead the school forward and I hope that many of you will meet her at the Reunion on 25th September.
