The spring term was a busy one for the future entrepreneurs in Lower 4 who had been set the challenge to invent and develop a new idea to present in a Dragon's Den type scenario. Time was spent planning and creating presentations with the help of Head of Careers, Mr Reidy, along with two sessions with Olivia Whelan, who is an entrepreneur and parent at the school. Many fantastic ideas were generated by the future businesswomen and they all dressed the part for the Dragon's Den experience which took place at Barclays in Poole House. In turn the groups had an opportunity to present their inventions to the 'Dragons' who then asked probing questions. Three teams were shortlisted and the overall winner was Amber Walker who had given a heartfelt presentation on her potentially lifesaving invention, HSEM, an epileptic monitor. As always the TH girls rose to the challenge with enthusiasm and thought, and were absolutely amazing having each produced highly polished presentations.
