It was Aztec cultural day in the Junior school - a colourful and fun event to involve all of the junior department children. The girls - dressed in an array of Aztec attire - engaged in creative workshops, making headdresses and designing clay gods.
Mexicolore (a small independent teaching team who provide specialist educational services on Mexico and teaching resources on the Mexica (Aztecs) and Maya cultures) led the main workshop presentations, which were both fascinating and educational, and included dance and music. They brought so many artefacts with them it took two hours to unpack and repack them all! An exciting day was enjoyed by all.
