Leith’s School of Food and Wine ‘Let’s Cook’ Course

Congratulations to Alma, Millie, Grace, Bethany, Pippa, Ava, Luna and Lily; our latest batch of Leith’s girls to complete their ‘Let’s Cook’ Course, in partnership with this prestigious UK cookery school. During their five weekly session, the girls developed key cooking skills including handling a variety of ingredients and equipment, time management, food safety and hygiene. They also learnt to prepare a repertoire of dishes such as carrot and coriander soup with garlic croutons and Swiss roll with raspberries and cream. The course is designed to equip students with important skills for life, develop confidence, encourage creativity and make delicious food to share. It was agreed that we had great fun, produced some fabulous results, and all felt a little downcast when it was all over!
