Easter Cake Competition 2017

It was particularly egg-citing to have such a wide age range of Easter entrants this year, from Year 4 all the way up to Year 12. Bunnies, eggs, lambs and carrots featured aplenty, topped off with extravagant amounts of chocolate, naturally! The judges commented that, as always, the cakes were all wonderful, there were some really inspirational ideas and that lots of hard work had clearly taken place. Yet again it was particularly difficult to pick the winners, but they were chosen for being the most technical, and displaying the highest levels of skill.

Third place was awarded to Ellie Price-Lloyd and Charlotte Logan-Woollard for their carrot mountain cake; second place to Carys Fernyhough for her woodland Easter scene and the overall winners were Nia Edwards and Maisie Chan for their two-tier TH ‘THINK BIG’ bunny.  Congratulations to everyone, and thank you for taking part.
