At Talbot Heath, we’re proud to offer a dependable and welcoming school transport service, delivered by our DBS-checked drivers — trusted ambassadors of our school community. As the first and last point of contact each day, they ensure every pupil is met with a familiar face while ensuring every pupil enjoys a safe and comfortable journey.

We operate 8 dedicated bus routes covering a broad area across Dorset and the New Forest. Morning buses arrive at school by 8:30 am, and afternoon services depart at 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm (perfect for pupils staying for clubs or prep).

The 5.00 bus service

While the 5:00 pm route is slightly more limited, it still serves many key locations. Bookings must be made in advance according to the following schedule:

• Monday and Tuesday services: Seats must be booked by 4:00 pm on Sunday.
• Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday services: Seats must be booked by 4:00 pm on Tuesday.

Bookings received after these deadlines will not be accepted for that week.

To book a place on the 5pm bus service, please complete this form. If no bookings are received, the 5pm service will not operate on that day.

Ad-hoc journeys

We recognise that some families may need greater transport flexibility, therefore, we provide Ad-hoc bookings for occasional journeys (subject to availability).

Airports & London Routes

Transport to and from London, as well as major airports, can be arranged. Please contact our Finance Team to discuss your requirements.

Bus Cancellation

We require half a term’s notice to cancel a bus service or charges will apply.  To cancel your bus service please complete this form
