Don’t just take our word for it, see what others have to say about us in these testimonials.

Talbot Heath has been the most amazing school over the past 7 years. As I leave now, I will always treasure the community that I built here with not only the other students but with the staff too. The unwavering support from my teachers, particularly throughout my performing arts journey, was truly invaluable, always there for me and my peers whenever we needed it. Talbot Heath created an environment where my confidence blossomed, my dreams were encouraged, and I made genuine friendships alongside an education that will undoubtedly last a lifetime. Throughout my GCSE and A-level studies, my teachers consistently went above and beyond, dedicating extra hours to ensure every student reached their full potential. They not only equipped us with the knowledge to succeed but also instilled a powerful work ethic and the motivation to achieve our very best. I am so grateful for my time at TH and I will carry the invaluable lessons and experiences gained here with me always.

Millie C, Head Girl

Our daughter transferred to Talbot Heath School from another independent school at the start of Year 2. At the time she was very timid, struggling with confidence, assertiveness and her learning. Within just two weeks at Talbot Heath, friends and family were commenting that she seemed like a different child – and they were right. She began holding herself differently, formed lovely friendships and her confidence grew quickly. The teachers identified her learning needs immediately and put support in place straight away. Two and a half years on, our daughter is thriving. She is happy, motivated, enjoys school and gives everything a go. What truly sets Talbot Heath apart is how the girls are encouraged and celebrated for being themselves – curious, individual and brave enough to make mistakes and learn from them. Subjects such as Design, Music, French and Expressive Arts play a huge role in helping the girls discover who they are, and it shows. The girls are noticeably confident, joyful and unafraid to have fun. Our only regret is that we didn’t start at Talbot Heath in Kindergarten!

Mrs M, Junior Parent

I honestly don’t think we could have chosen a better school for Millie. Talbot Heath has given her so much more than an education. It has helped her grow into a confident, independent young woman who believes in herself and her abilities. Millie has had an incredibly successful time at the school, achieving outstanding GCSE and A – Level results, and we couldn’t be prouder of what she has accomplished. But for us, her achievements go far beyond her grades. The school has encouraged her to pursue her passions, take every opportunity and to have the confidence to follow her dreams. What has stood out to us most is how much the teachers genuinely know their students and care about their individual success, not just academically but as young people. Millie has always felt so supported and encouraged, and I know she will miss the staff enormously. She has also made the most wonderful friends at the school who I’m sure will stay with her for life. It’s incredibly sad to see her leave, but we know she is more than ready for her next adventure. Next week, Millie will be joining The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where she will study Acting for three years. Talbot Heath has given her the foundations, confidence and encouragement to go out into the world and follow what she loves, and for that we will always be eternally grateful.

Year 4 Parent

Our daughter has been at Talbot Heath for seven years, and during that time she has been very happy and truly thrived. She has always been supported and encouraged in her sporting journey which allowed her to balance her sporting commitments alongside her academic studies. The schools family-like community has been a wonderful environment, helping her develop into an independent young woman whilst forming lifelong friendships. Her time in Sixth Form has been an amazing two years. The commitment, guidance and dedication of her teachers have been outstanding, and we are grateful for the role the school has played in both shaping both her education and her future. It was a big decision for us as a family to send her to TH but we’d do it again in a heartbeat! Mrs Wells.

Mrs Wells – 6th Form Parent

Talbot Heath is a wonderful school. Our daughter spent 7 very happy years there and flourished in every way. The school combines high academic standards with the very best in pastoral care. The head teacher and staff are outstanding.

Claire S, Parent

We initially chose Talbot Heath for academic robustness and positive female role models. The school are particularly good at championing women and instilling a ‘can do’ attitude in the girls. My daughter has flourished during her time at Talbot Heath. She has grown enormously in confidence, self-belief, self-reliance and responsibility. There has never been a day when my daughter has not wanted to go to school. There is a sense of a safe, supportive and family feel. Competition is healthy and no one to my knowledge is ever made to feel less than anyone else.

Year 6 Parent

Talbot Heath nurtures each individual child and identifies their likes and interests. They encourage their confidence and support them to become independent and resilient.

Year 4 Parent

The staff at Talbot Heath offer excellent tuition, and the school has fantastic facilities for a very diverse range of interests – that could result in very spoilt girls. Instead, there is a deep sense of each girl needing to take personal responsibility to make the most of what she has been given. And what we were told when first shown round is very true in practice: the staff facilitate the girls’ learning journey, every step of the way. The Linguists Dinner is a fabulous advert for this.

Year 8 Parent

Talbot Heath have high standards on behaviour, appearance, attitude and manners – the children are very happy. It’s academic and the children start learning in a school environment very early. It’s organised and parents are well informed.

Kindergarten Parent

We chose Talbot Heath School because of its long-standing reputation in our local community for turning out confident well-educated young women.

Year 9 Parent

We chose Talbot Heath as we felt it would nurture our daughters’ love of learning. The Heads vision is inspirational and we were impressed with the desire to give equal weight to the Arts as a way to engage pupils & create a truly creative curriculum even into KS 3 and 4.

Year 8 Parent

The location is amazing and facilities enable learning at all levels not restricted to the classroom. There is an easy-going nature and relationship between parents and staff without compromising teaching standards. I haven’t met an unhappy child at the school yet.

Year 10 Parent

I love it here, there is no peer pressure, we can all just be ourselves. We are in great surroundings & we have lovely teachers.

Year 9 Pupil

At Talbot Heath there are excellent relationships between staff and girls. Incredible ‘can do’ ethos, it really is ‘cool to like school’, effort and achievement are highly celebrated by all – from academic to sporting to music and drama activities. Positive relationships between school and parents who are regularly invited in to see, enjoy and celebrate much of what goes on.

Year 9 Parent

We love the enthusiasm of the teachers to make the learning relevant to the pupils; the range of opportunities open to our daughter; the close community- the staff know the children well.
