This weekend marks the first appearance of the Talbot Heath School Swimming Club at the Dorset County Swimming Championships. A total of 20 girls have qualified for the 2026 event with 9 athletes making their debut at county level. 4 girls from the Junior School will be competing in the youngest age group 10/11 years. Arabella D has qualified for 5 events, Vera A 3 events and Isla V and Harriet H 1 event each.
Making their debut at county championships from the Senior School are Zaara S (6 events), Lottie H (2 events), Mollie E (2 events), Isabella P (2 events), and Jessica M-W (1 event).
Dorset County Championships is held over 4 weekends at the end of January and all through February. This weekend is being held at the Littledown Centre in Bournemouth, with Dorchester Sports Centre hosting the long distance events on the 8th and 15th February, with a return to the Littledown Centre on the 21st and 22nd February.
