Mission Christmas – Cash For Kids Charity Update

Charity Manager for ‘Cash For Kids’, Samantha Tanner, kindly sent an update to Talbot Heath this week in response to the generous donations collected at the end of the autumn term.
She wrote: ‘Thank you so much for being one of our Drop Off Points for our Mission Christmas appeal – I have attached a thank you certificate.

‘Apologies for the delay sending this but I wanted to send you our latest Infographic which summarises how Cash for Kids South Coast, Wiltshire and Surrey has helped children throughout the whole of 2023, [we have only just received the final confirmation of the total numbers from our accounts team.] The £1m figure for Mission Christmas includes toy and cash donations.

‘Mission Christmas was able to help every single child that we had an approved application for. This meant 22,288 local children, living in poverty, received a present on Christmas Day and you helped us to achieve this. Thank you so much for your continued support.’

Further thanks go to parents and pupils who donated gifts, and also to Miss Coates, who coordinated the donations and gave up her time in the Christmas break to organise the toys ready for collection.
