On Saturday 8th November, the PSS hosted Talbot Heath’s very first Laser Night — a spectacular alternative to traditional fireworks, offering all the excitement without the bangs!
Our aim was to create a family-friendly celebration that reduced environmental impact and avoided distress to local pets — and the night exceeded all expectations! Over 700 guests from both the Talbot Heath and wider community joined us for two incredible laser shows set to music, expertly designed and delivered by Fusion Events.
The evening was made even more magical with breathtaking fire performances and LED hoop displays by Jasmin, beautiful live music from Ember Acoustics, and a vibrant, joyful atmosphere. Guests enjoyed delicious food from Thomas Franks, ice cream treats from Bournemouth Ices, and warming Jamaican coffee from The Real Coffee Shop Blends, along with drinks and merchandise supplied by our hardworking PSS team.
A huge thank you to Seb and Ollie from STN, Travis Perkins (Ashley Road depot) for their generous generator donation, and the wonderful volunteers from Aspire. We also extend heartfelt thanks to the SLT, Marketing, and Site Teams for their incredible support — from planning and promotion to literally helping us build the event!
Funds raised will go towards exciting new projects at Talbot Heath, to be announced in the new year. The Laser Show will return next November — bigger, brighter, and still bang-free!
