Christmas shoe boxes are always an early indication that Christmas is just around the corner and it has become as much a part of Christmas at TH as the Nativity play, carols and cake… This year’s Christmas Shoebox campaign was once again led by Miss King’s Christmas Elves – Charity Helpers - from across all year groups. Both the Junior School and the Senior School joined forces once more to decorate, fill and collect Christmas shoeboxes for underprivileged children around the globe. Some girls completed whole shoe boxes, others brought items in to make a collective box. The pupils filled 115 shoeboxes as Christmas gifts for 'Operation Christmas Child’ that is arranged by Samaritans Purse Charity, (they have been organising this commendable cause since 1990.)
Thanks go to the staff, parents and pupils for their generosity and support for this important charity.
