On the 6th August twenty pupils travelled to the La Rive campsite in Biscarrosse for the Rockley trip. The school have been running the Rockley trip for many years now but had not been to this particular campsite, therefore the girls were keen to get there and start their adventure holiday.
As ever the girls were presented with fantastic opportunities to take part in a range of water sports including: paddle boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, pico and dart sailing. The lake was absolutely stunning with breath taking views. Most afternoons saw the wind pick up considerably which made for some fantastic sailing. The girls enjoyed taking the go pro camera out to get some action shots!
There was also the chance to stay dry for a day and the girls took this opportunity to do a high ropes course, as well as go to Arcachon for some shopping, and to soak up some French culture... alongside plenty of ice cream.
It was a truly enjoyable trip and the campsite offered so much entertainment for the girls in the evening. Well done to all the girls for challenging themselves throughout the week and particular thanks goes to Mrs Luke and Mrs Wills for their presence and support on the trip. Special thanks goes to Miss Marks for organising a fantastic trip.
