Trips & Visits

Trips & Visits

Mary Broad, the school’s founder, pioneered school trips in 1886 by taking her girls to countries across Europe, as well as taking them to heathland, woods, beaches and cities in the UK. She believed that true education involved a broad range of experiences.

We still share that view and at Talbot Heath there is always something happening beyond the curriculum, from Geography trips to Italy to A level English visits to Jane Austen’s house, Year 6 residential trips to London, Pre-Prep visits to costume museums and farms.

Our trips programme covers all areas of the curriculum and all parts of the globe. We organise local and regional trips, as well as overseas trips such as our Sixth Form trip to Rwanda, ski trips to the USA, watersports trips and language visits to Spain and France.

In addition we run a wide range of clubs and activities as part of our enrichment programme, from oil painting classes, to animation, debating societies and Oriental Club. There is something to suit every interest.
