The candidate will be expected to present a portfolio of work to show originality, inventiveness, technical competence and a variety of media where possible. The work should reflect an enthusiasm for the subject, both from school and extra-curricular activities e.g. Saturday school at the Arts Institute. Portfolios can be presented digitally or physically.

For the Art assessment, the applicants will be required to do two tasks.

1. An observational drawing, to show their knowledge of form, proportion and tone.

2. A design, to show their creativity and response to a set task.

The theme for both will link but will be given to you on the day.

Each task will be 45 Minutes long with a 5-minute preparation period at the start.
