The final week of term saw the return of one of Talbot Heath’s most loved community events – the PSS Easter Tea & Trail – and this year it was bigger and better than ever. With over 400 guests joining us on campus, the afternoon was filled with sunshine, laughter, creativity, dancing bunnies and plenty of Easter fun.
A highlight of the event was the incredible raffle, featuring more than 30 beautifully presented baskets donated by classes from across the school. Each one was thoughtfully put together and then expertly wrapped by our wonderful team of PSS volunteers, creating an irresistible display that had everyone hoping for a winning ticket.
The Easter egg decorating competition also reached a whole new level this year. Pupils across the year groups showcased their imagination with some truly fantastic and inventive creations, making judging an almost impossible task.
The Easter Trail itself featured a fun new addition – “I’m a Celebrity”-style feely boxes – which proved to be a huge hit with pupils and parents alike, adding an extra element of surprise and laughter to the trail.
Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our school community, the event raised over £1,500. Every penny raised by the Parents’ Support Society (PSS) goes directly back into the school, helping to fund additional educational resources and play equipment for our pupils.
A huge thank you goes to our tireless PSS team for organising such a fantastic event, to our Sixth Form students who were brilliant helpers throughout the afternoon, and to Thomas Franks for providing the most delicious cakes that helped make the tea element of the event so special.
Finally, thank you to all our Talbot Heath families who donated, bought raffle tickets and came along to support the event. Your generosity and community spirit are what make occasions like this so memorable.
A wonderful way to end the term together.
