Our talented French students, Seren K [Lower 4] and Isla C [Upper 4], were selected to compete in the semi-final of the South Regional Translation Bee. The competition, held in Bath, brought together schools from across the Southwest.
Seren and Isla were challenged to translate as many sentences as possible from English into French within just one minute—a true test of speed, accuracy, and language skill. Madame Hazelton and Señora Snell were incredibly proud to watch the girls perform with such confidence in front of a full auditorium. It takes real courage to compete in a foreign language under pressure. Bravo les filles!
Thanks go to Madame Hazelton and Señora Snell for supporting and accompanying the girls for this event.
