Conscious Catwalk – a celebration of sustainable style and mindful choices

In a first for Talbot Heath, we hosted our Conscious Catwalk – a celebration of sustainable style and mindful choices. The message was simple: through our fashion and skincare purchases, we all have the power to make a difference. With fast fashion harming our planet, we encouraged our girls and their families to embrace more sustainable ways of living.

The evening began with delicious canapés from Thomas Franks, followed by inspiring talks from Alice (The Swish Shop) and Natasha (Chapter 5). Then came the highlight – the catwalk itself! Thirty girls from across the Junior and Senior School strutted with confidence, showcasing outfits styled from Swish donations and some truly incredible hand-crafted designs made by the girls themselves.

We ended the night with a Swish pop-up shop, where donors swapped clothes for new-to-them treasures.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our first Conscious Catwalk – Sasfi Hope-Ross Photography, Sequin Sisterhood, Hatha Yoga with Vicki, Defashion Dorset, Mooiskincare, and Mahina by Yasmin. Together, we raised almost £600 for an exciting project (to be revealed soon!).

But most importantly – well done to all the girls who took part. You shone with style, creativity, and confidence. We couldn’t be prouder!
