The end of half-term will mark a fond farewell to Mr Martin Stirling, Head Groundsman, who is leaving Talbot Heath following 27 years of service to the school community.
Across three headteachers he has overseen the school’s wonderful grounds and has brought his skills, expertise and kindness to his role. He has had a particular fondness for supporting the PE department and has taken great pride in ensuring that their outside ‘classroom’ has always been the best quality possible.
Martin is looking forward to spending time with his two grandsons, walking his pup and pursuing his passion for local history.
Mrs Harris said, ‘On behalf of the whole school community, I wish to say thank you for your many years of great service. We wish you every health and happiness in your much deserved retirement.’
