Optimism and eager anticipation for the months ahead

Dear Parents, Pupils, Staff, Governors and Friends,

This last week has been very special and one I am sure we will remember for years to come.

It has been truly wonderful to see everyone back on site. Our School is alive again, with the buzz of community, excited chatter and the distinctive hum of classes busily engaged in learning. The girls have shown remarkable resilience and adaptability and are quickly settling back into the rhythms of school life.

This week has also seen some of our long term plans come to fruition. Our EYFS pupils have been able to use our new sensory garden for the first time. It was so exciting to see this space full of children eagerly exploring and utilising this area.

In addition to this we have also started using our new woodland trail and outdoor learning area, situated behind the Jubilee Hall and wildlife pond.

We have also received a grant from the Don Hanson Trust to enhance our outdoor areas in an eco friendly way.

There is a real sense of anticipation for brighter times ahead and at last it feels as though we have turned a corner.

In this last week of Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day we have celebrated the nurturing power of our mothers and the pioneering women of the past who have opened up the paths of possibility ahead. It seemed a very fitting sentiment as we look forward to the months ahead with optimism and eager anticipation.

Warm wishes for the week ahead
