Sixth Form Spanish Trip to Lorca in London

This week, sixth formers Helena, Nola and Elena travelled to the Cervantes Theatre in London, to see Lorca’s famous play “La casa de Bernarda Alba”, which they are studying for their A-Level Spanish.

On route to the theatre staff and students enjoyed lunch in an authentic Spanish restaurant where their favourite dishes were enjoyed: tortilla de patatas, croquetas de jamón ibérico, paella de mariscos y churros.

The group thoroughly enjoyed a passionate performance of the play in Spanish, and also had the unique opportunity for photograph with the actor who plays “Bernarda” – Teresa del Olmo. It was a truly Spanish experience in London for everyone.

Gracias go to Señora Frade and Señora Snell for organising and accompanying the visit.
