‘We all enjoyed our day out on the Geography field trip before half term. We had lots of fun splashing around in the river working out the flow rates using oranges and tennis balls.

‘At Longdown Dairy Farm we joined in with the daily schedule of hands-on activities; we particularly enjoyed holding the baby chicks and stroking them. Catching the chickens was also very amusing. The staff were kind enough to also let us hold some very young goats. Later we enjoyed the tractor ride which was especially entertaining doing the Mexican wave and singing, we even got a second go round after repetitive requests.
To sum up the trip it was fun, amusing, and educational – a trip none of us will, forget! Thank you to the Geography department for organising it.’
