Congratulations to sailing sisters, Lila and Eliana, who have just concluded the Euromed Optimist regatta with 175 competitors from Thailand to USA. Lila secured a place on the podium and was placed 3rd Female overall and Eliana was 7th Female overall; a superb achievement for them both.
In tennis news, congratulations go to both Daniella B and Sophia S who are now winners of the Under 18 doubles tournament. Daniella has also secured an official No.2 ranking in the country on the LTA Junior U12 tables. December was indeed an exciting month for the West Hants Club Tennis Academy; Daniella won her way through to the quarter finals of an U12 category one Tennis Europe event in Portugal, following this she achieved the double at U18 level, G3 at Taunton, winning the singles and going on to win the doubles with Sofia. Daniella continued through to the U18 G3 final in Bristol losing in a tight match – but an incredible achievement for a Year 7 pupil to compete in an U18 final. Congratulations to Sofia and Daniella from the school community.
