Talbot Heath School is delighted to announce outstanding GCSE results for 2025, reflecting the school’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.
This year, 63 girls sat their GCSE examinations, and the results have once again surpassed national expectations. The number of students achieving the very highest grades (Grades 7 to 9) is double the national average, and the proportion of girls securing a good pass is also well above national benchmarks.
Among the many success stories, three students—Lila, Hannah, and Emily—achieved a combined total of 21 Grade 9s, placing them in the top 1% of students nationally. Their exceptional results are a testament to their hard work and the nurturing, vibrant environment at Talbot Heath.
Lila’s achievements are particularly inspiring, as she has successfully balanced her academic studies with representing Great Britain in sailing, demonstrating the school’s support for students pursuing excellence both in and out of the classroom. Talbot Heath is proud to offer elite Tennis and Swimming Academies, where talented athletes combine a bespoke education with high-performance coaching, enabling them to thrive academically while training and competing at the highest levels.
Subjects that performed exceptionally well this year include the sciences, reflecting the success of STEM subjects in an all girls environment, along with drama, languages, history, RS, food technology and Art.
Headteacher Tracy Harris commented:
“We are incredibly proud of all our students. These results reflect their dedication and the strength of our teaching, support systems and family support. Talbot Heath offers an excellent education alongside amazing co-curricular opportunities, empowering girls to flourish in a dynamic and caring setting. I wish all our students every success as they take their next steps along their education journey.”
Talbot Heath continues to lead the way in delivering a forward-thinking education that empowers girls to excel academically, grow in confidence, and pursue their passions.
