Holroyd Howe named Education Caterer of the Year at the Prestigious ceremony.
Holroyd Howe, on of the UK's leading independent school caterers, has been named 'Education Caterer of the Year' at this 'Foodservice Cateys', held at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London.
The ward, which recognises companies operating across the education sector, was presented to the Holroyd Howe Team at a high-profile event attended by over 500 people from the foodservice industry.
The company was especially commended for its commitment to training, local sourcing and the development of innovative and fresh food menus across its schools and colleges.
Over the last year, the company has heavily invested in training and development of its teams, through the Chef Academy, Apprentice and Graduate schemes, and and Advanced Management Programmme.
The winners of the awards are selected by a panel of judges made up of experts across the foodservice and hospitality industries. Ronan Hatrte, Managin Director, Holroyd Howe, says: "It is a real honour to pick out up this award. We are very proud of how hard our teams have worked over the course of last year, and this award is testament to that.
"As a business, our focus has always been to deliver creative, delicious food that engages and inspired pupils, whilst also safeguarding their health and wellbeing. We are delighted that this award recognises that."
This was the second win of the week for Holroyd Howe, after one of their Head Chefs, Matt Potts, scooped up the Independent Caterer of the Year Award at the Educatering Excellence Awards dinner on October 13th.
