Christmas celebrations began in earnest at Talbot Heath thanks to the PSS Christmas Fayre that took place last Friday. The Great Hall and Old Gym were transformed by a willing team of volunteers to host an array of colourful (and calorie laden) stalls for the event. Always popular were the favourites which included the grand raffle, cakes, sweets and crafts sales. Some of the biggest draws were theFrozen Bouncy Castle and slide (where the younger members had plenty of fun); Pin the Nose on Rudolph (it wouldn’t be Christmas without it); and the sparkly tattoos and hair crimping stalls (as the girls made the most of flouting the uniform rules for a good cause!)
It was yet another fine example of the school community coming together for an afternoon to raise valuable funds for the PSS. The fair raised a superb total of £2000 which will be spent on enhancing the girls' education and learning. Warm thanks go to everyone whole generously gave up their time to make it a successful and festively fun afternoon.
