Fourteen pupils from Upper 3 and Upper 4 travelled to the Rockley trip at Le Lac Mimizan this summer. This was a fantastic opportunity for the girls to not only take part in a range of water sports but to experience camping, as well as elements of French culture. We stayed in a beautiful part of France with our tents overlooking the lake. The days included paddle boarding, windsurfing, kayaking and dart sailing. We had the chance to go to the local town of Mimizan which allowed us to shop as well as spending some of the evening on the beach watching the beautiful sunsets. The Rockley trip was a great success and fantastic experience; there is another trip currently being organised for next summer.
Thanks go to Miss Marks for organising and leading the visit and to Mrs Luke for her valuable presence.
