Talbot Heath school student, Georgina Harris, is a picture of success after achieving 100% for every unit in both A-Level Fine Art and Photography; she received an unconditional offer from Lancaster University to study Fine Art. The Art faculty at Talbot Heath have always celebrated her exceptional talents as an artist, stating how she is a committed student and is already working at degree level.
Other successes are widespread throughout the Sixth Form as girls are pursuing a range of courses: Lowri Fernyhough achieved an A* and three A grades (as well as an A* for her EPQ) and she is to study Law at Oxford. Some girls are heading to UCL for Medicine, Classics and Physics, and National tennis player, Eleanor Baker, has secured a scholarship in the US. Over one-third of A-Level results were A* and A grades this year and 90% of EPQ grades were A* and A grades.
Mrs Holloway offered her congratulations to the girls and stated how immensely proud she is of their achievements, adding,
‘the breadth of courses is remarkable. I am delighted that so many of the girls will be able to realise their ambitions and wish them every success for the future.’
