The 16-year-old student from Talbot Heath School in Bournemouth achieved six A* grades, and one level 9 for her mathematics, including 100 per cent score on all of her science papers. Results across the year group were excellent: 100 per cent of girls attained 5 or more GCSEs, with almost 60 per cent of girls achieving an A and A*. It was the perfect score for Music and Chinese GCSE candidates, who all received an A*, and there were also happy pairings with three sets of twins in the year group, attaining the full sweep of GCSEs between them.
Angharad Holloway, the Head, commented, ‘I am delighted with these results, particularly given the very challenging circumstances relating to new specifications and exams. The commitment of staff and pupils at Talbot Heath has been clearly reflected through these grades once again.’
