Christmas celebrations began in earnest at Talbot Heath thanks to the PSS Christmas Fair that took place last week. The main hall, gymnasium and dining halls were transformed by a willing team of volunteers to host an array of colourful (and calorie laden) stalls for the event. Always popular were the favourites which included the grand raffle, cakes, sweets and crafts stalls. All year groups were fully involved in making the event such a success: from Year 1’s stall ‘Find Rudolph’s Golden Carrot’ to the Sixth formers serving delicious mulled wine, accompanied by Father Christmas himself, and his elves. The Upper 4’s nail and hair salon also proved to be very popular (as the girls made the most of flouting the uniform rules for a good cause.)
It was yet another fine example of the school community coming together for an afternoon to raise a superb total in excess of £2300 for the PSS. Warm thanks go to everyone who generously gave up their time to make it a successful and festively fun afternoon.
